●Katsuko Kojima 小島 克子

I took the English literature course at college just because I liked reading foreign books in my young days.
After experiencing a small job of translation, I started a teaching job in and around Tokyo about 20 years ago.
While instucting some basic English and cross-cultural background, I attended several short programs for English teachers held abroad. Since then I have taught a wide range of learners from school children to university students and middle-aged businessmen.
It was both interesting and informative for myself to meet such a variety of people.
Actually my interest expanded to many other fields including international affairs.
Now I'm very happy to work for Wa-no-wa Theater and help future actors
and actresses study English at its actor school.
I'd try my best not only to enhance their language skills but also to widen their perspectives because they have an imortant mission to introduce Japanese culture to foreign people. I do hope they'll fulfill their aim
and dream in the nearest future.
